Inclusive Language & Gender Bias in the Workplace

I designed and developed a 30–45 minute self-paced eLearning course for Golden 1 Credit Union to strengthen inclusive communication among staff in member-facing roles. My responsibilities included instructional design, storyboarding, and building the course using Vyond for scenario-based animations, Storyline for interactivity, and Rise 360 for overall course structure and deployment.
I ensured the content was practical, engaging, and accessible, guiding employees to avoid assumptions around pronouns, roles, and gender associations while applying inclusive language in daily interactions. Through this project, I delivered a solution that boosted employee confidence, improved frontline member experiences, and advanced the organization’s DEI strategy by embedding inclusive practices across the workforce.
